3D printing with PA 12 GF
PA 12 GF, also known as PA 3200 GF, is a glass-filled fine polyamide of whitish colour. Thanks to the reinforcement with glass beads, this polyamide comes very close to the properties of glass fibre reinforced plastic. If required, FKM can infiltrate the powder with colour. 3D printing with PA 12 GF produces components and prototypes that have excellent mechanical properties. Objects are on the one hand very dimensionally stable and rigid, and on the other hand they are characterised by good elongation at break.
FKM has this polyamide powder for 3D printing constantly in stock. Objects made using the SLS process are fully functional and ready for use.

Possible applications of PA 12 GF
3D printing with PA 12 GF produces components that are particularly well suited for the automotive industry – especially for the engine sector – due to their high thermal load capacity. PA 12 with glass is also a good choice as a mould material for deep-drawing tools. Within a short time, prototypes are created using the SLS process in order to be able to use test objects during development, but also fully functional series components.
